| hey guys, sorry i haven't updated in a while. anyway the other day i bought a new snowboard and boots!! i got them on sale and kristna went with me to buy them. my board is turqoise with like colored trees in the middle. someday i'll take a picture and post them!
today i went to church and had dinner with my family at "won's cafe" it's like our secret place and no one goes there. i told amanda i'd take her there. she said she would take me to "chili my soul" on ventura. she said they have 80 different kinds of chili! omg i love chili.
ajay and amanda are here. they're making me update. so i'm updating. ok now were gonna go do something so i'll updated again later or when i feel like it! |

How did they come up with the name testes... Well during the old times where there was not bible created yet, in the courtroom when a man (during that time women were not allowed to testify in court) would TESTIFY; instead of putting his hand on a bible like he normally would, he put his hand on his you know what and state that he was going to tell the truth. Isn't that funny... anyway I thought that was pretty interesting. |

| Today I went to see a play my cousin was in called, As Vishnu Dreams. It was pretty good; it was funny but also sad. This play was based on the religion Hinduism which is something we learned in senior year at Notre Dame world religions class! Anyway, in a short synopsis, it was about this blue prince named Rama who was going after this demon who stole his chastiful wife, Sita. This demon had a love for Sita that he could not describe. Sita knew that no matter what her Rama would come and find her and kill the demon. She waited patiently for year when the demon and Rama went head to head. Rama killed the demon who ended up being the father of Sita. The love he had for her that he could not describe was the love of a father for his daughter. He always longed for a daughter which is why his wife, Sita's mother decided to never tell him. She left Sita in a field after birth because she did want the love her husband had for her to fade because of the daughter. Sita at first was shocked as well as Rama but Sita believed her so called mother because she felt it was genuine. When Sita and Rama returned home he doubted her pureness because she was gone for so long but he wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt; the rumors of the people made him result to embarassing her in front of everyone by mading her walk through flames. If she walked through it without getting hurt it was a sign she was still pure and as she had said, she walked out safely meaning she was telling the truth. And that was the end. My cousin played a little part as the son of the god of wind who helped Rama find Sita. I really liked this Asian American theatre he is in because the plays are very interesting. The next play he will be in is about Imelda Marcus, one of the first ladies of the Philippines. I think she is the lady with a whole mess of shoes. Anyway after that we ate a Jerry's Deli and man that was good stuff! |
